The Jewish day begins at sundown.  Thus, all holidays begin at sundown of the day preceeding teh date shown, and end at sundown of the last day shown.  Since the Jewish religious calendar starts with Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish year always straddles two years from the civil calendar.

SHABBAT - The Sabbath; every week from Friday evening to Saturday evening; one of he holiest days in teh calendar.
ROSH HASHANAH - The Festival of Trumpets; The Jewish New Year.
YOM KIPPUR - Day of Atonement; the one solemn festival of the year; devoted to fasting, prayer and repentance.
SUKKOT - The Festival of Tabernacles; commemorating the dwelling of the Israelites in booths in the wilderness.
SHEMINI ATZERET or SIMCHAT TORAH - Rejoicing in the Torah (the law).
HANUKKAH - Festival of Lights; celebration of the miracle of the preservation of the Jewish faith in Macabees.
PURIM - Celebrated the preservation of the Jewish race in Esther.
PESACH - The Passover; deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt; the death, burial, and resurrection of the Messiah.
SHAVUOT - Pentecost, the festival of weeks; marks the giving of the Torah (law) at Mt. Sinai in the Old Testament, and the giving of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.
