Maranatha Life Ministry Photo Album

The great part about ministry in Mexico is the people.  We, as Americans, can use to learn much from them.  They have a warm, loving heart, that is always ready to reach out to others.  We, who have so much are often stingy with it, while the Mexican people will literally give you the shirt off their back.  The first time we went to Mexico, it was the people who won our hearts.

Not only are the people warm and friendly, but they have a heart hungry for God.  When the Word is preached, they are there to listen, when an altar call is given, they rush to be prayed for.

Above:  Pastor Basilio Monsivais, the pastor of the church we live at in Reynosa, Mexico.  When we first started ministering there, he opened the church to us, and offered his church as a place for us to park our motorhome and work out of.  He has also provided us with many contacts for ministering in the city.

Right:  Pastor Juan Luis Munoz, his wife, and the owner of one of the Christian Book Stores (far right).  Pastor Munoz is one of the pastors we've worked with quite a bit.  He asked us to come minister at his church every Tuesday night.  During that time, we saw an incredible outpouring in Worship.  The people, especially the youth, responded to God with all their heart.

Although we were ministering mostly on the Mexico side of the border, we also ministered on the American side.  Here, Rich is with some brothers at a Hispanic church in Harlingen, TX.  The Mexicans had a little trouble understanding the Jewish garb, but when we showed them this picture, they realized that there were Hispanic Jews as well.
