Mexicans are very social people.  In the United States, it's not unusual for us to not even know our neighbors, and hardly ever get together with our church family.  Not so in Mexico.  Every opportunity, the Mexican people gather for fellowship.  In the six months we were in Mexico, we got to know some of the people better than we knew people we'd gone to church with in the United States for years.

Of course, it seems like Christians have to eat when we gather for fellowship, and the Mexicans are great at putting out the food.

But, food isn't all of it.  Every gathering we went to had praise.  The Mexicans love to praise the Lord, and do it at their fiestas as well as their church services.
