Crediting Plan:
Classes will be divided into three types:
-
Basic courses
-
Elective courses
-
Specific track courses
To receive basic certification as completing bible school, the student
will need to complete a specified group of basic courses, and a specified
number of elective course credits.
To receive certification in a specialty, such as marriage and family ministry,
the student will need to complete a specified group of basic courses, and
a specific group of specific track courses.
If a student has already completed basic bible school elsewhere, they
can receive certification in a specialty by completing only those specific
track courses.
If a student has already completed basic bible school elsewhere, they
can receive certification of advanced study by completing a specific number
of elective course credits.
Any student can receive a certificate of completion of any specific course,
or group of courses. However, this is not the equivalent of completing bible
school.
Credits:
Credit value of each course:
-
Each 8 week course will be worth 1 credit
-
Each 6 week course will be worth ¾ credit
-
Each 4 week course will be worth ½ credit
Each year has 6 ½ credits worth of courses offered.
18 credits are required to receive basic bible school certificate of
completion. However, the student will be offered a certificate of completion
for each year (six credits) completed.
Although 18 credits require three years of study, the students will not
be studying full time. Since we must produce the programs far ahead of when
they will actually be aired, any student can work ahead, and complete the
program in less time. This will be especially true once we have a number
of courses archived on the Internet.
Student only receives credit if he completes test with a passing grade
(70%). Students may retake test up to two times if they fail it the first
time.
Steps Student Complete for Course
Credit:
-
Apply for Certificate of Completion (at the end of one course, one year,
or completion of full course of study - as the student chooses). We will
charge a nominal fee for the certification. This will be the only charge
that the students will pay, unless they decide to purchase audio or video
tapes.
