BIBLE SPANISH 1 - SAMPLE PAGES This is page 26 from Bible Spanish 1 (sample 1 of 4). At this point, the student has already completed the phonics part of the course, and knows the proper way to read, and pronounce the language. All the words contained on this page (except for those at the top, where we've given definitions) are cognates. Cognates are words that sound similar in both languages. So, the student will understand the words, even without having to learn them. By starting the student communicating with cognates, we help them start using the language quicker, and easier. On this page, the student is making basic sentences, such as: "El mosquito es muy horrible." They are learning basic sentence structure without having to memorize grammar rules, and actualy have something they can start speaking to others. |
